How do I get a tutor?

Call (305) 814-0035 to get in touch with your Acadomia Academic Advisor with whom you will review your availabilities (time and location) and specific academic objectives. We will send you a Learning Plan, match your needs with one of our experienced tutors and give you a cost estimate. You simply fill out our registration documents. Once we receive the payment, the teacher will directly contact you to schedule the first class.

How do I communicate with my tutor?

You will be able to communicate directly by phone with your tutor.

Do you have online classes?

We have online classes for the French Curriculum called Acadomia 365: a unique digital platform covering all subjects for the French Curriculum from CP until Terminale, reinforced by 30’ live coaching sessions every week. 

We also offer a wide range of classes via Skype® if you look for a very specific subject or live far from Miami.

Can I get multiple subjects in one package?

Packages give you an amount of hours you can use for multiple subjects depending on your needs.

When can tutors come to my house?

There is always a tutor available seven days a week between 8am to 9pm. We pre-screen tutors based on your schedule preferences. Once you get in touch with your teacher you will be able to schedule the classes more precisely depending on your availabilities.

Where does the tutoring sessions held?

Are there group sessions available?

Group sessions are available depending on the subject. We open a class regularly but need at least 3 students to maintain it. We help you organize a group session in your home with students from the same school or friends so you can benefit from our affordable group prices.

Which geographical areas do you cover?

We are covering the Miami area (Dade and Broward) and we will expand soon in other cities in the USA. If you are not located in our area, contact us to explore our Live classes via Skype®.

How are your tutors recruited?

We have a rigorous recruitment process, involving interview, reference and background checks. Most of our tutors are independent contractors with at least 3 years of college and tutoring experience.  Our Acadomia Junior program trains seniors in high school and college students with less than 3 years of study.

How much does a tutoring session cost?

The private hourly session rate depends on how many hours of tutoring you need. We have attractive packages with an hourly rate starting at $39 for live sessions and $58 for in-person tutoring. In a group hourly rates start at $22. Call (305) 814-0035 today to find the tutoring program that suits you.

Can I change my package whenever I want?

Depending on the student’s needs we may increase or decrease the number of hours, you will need to contact us and we will be happy to help you.

Can I cancel my package at any time?

30-day trial period for Pre-paid plans and monthly programs: Contract can be cancelled within 30 days of signature for any reason. Acadomia must be notified in writing at least 48 hours before the next planned tutoring session. Unused pre-paid tutoring hours will be refunded at an hourly rate pro-rated.

Memberships are non-refundable.

Can I cancel my class/session?

Missed classes – Individual Session: If a cancellation/reschedule is to be made by the client, 24 hours’ notice must be given to the tutor or the session will be charged (exceptions: emergency) without the possibility to reschedule. If you cancel in the allotted time, you can reschedule with your tutor at his/her  convenience within the given month.

Missed classes – Group Session: Students may contact their teachers via email to obtain missed work. Class fees will not be pro-rated.  Make-ups: Students who miss a class are welcome to contact our office for a complimentary make-up class. Make-up classes are limited to one occurrence per quarter and within the limits of availability. If classes are full, then no make-up can be offered. You must contact the program coordinator by email before the date of the class to have your request approved.

Do I have to pay the tutor every session?

No, you don’t. You purchase packages of prepaid hours that we can bill you at a minimum every 4 weeks.

Which forms of payment are accepted?

  • By deposit at a Bank of America branch of your choice
  • By credit Card: Credit card Authorization Form is sent with the registration forms for your convenience.
  • Electronic Transfer: information available upon request
